Al Stewart and The Empty Pockets Biography

Al Stewart is a British singer-songwriter known for narrative-driven songs that blend folk, pop and rock. His best-known work includes “Year of the Cat” and “Time Passages,” songs that helped define his thoughtful, story-rich approach to songwriting. For this performance, he appears with The Empty Pockets, a Chicago-based roots-rock band whose musicianship provides a lively setting for Stewart's catalog.

Venue and Seating Information

The Aladdin Theater is a Portland performance venue with a distinctive historic character. Its intimate scale can make a concert feel close to the stage, suiting a set focused on vocals, lyrics and instrumental detail. Check the event's seating map when selecting tickets, since configurations and available sections can vary.

For the most direct view of the performers, consider seats closer to the stage, if available. Other sections may offer a comfortable alternative and a broader view of the room; the best choice depends on the event layout and personal preference.
